Reach Out. That's the Hardest Part.

What Happens When You Reach Out?

You've probably been staring at this page for a while. Deciding. Wondering if it's "bad enough" yet. Rehearsing what you'd even say.

Here's the truth: you don't need to have anything figured out before contacting me. You don't need to know the right words, the right timeline, or the right questions. You just need to send one message — and I'll take it from there.

Here's exactly what happens after you reach out:

1. I Respond Personally

Usually within one business day. Not an assistant, not an autoresponder — me. I'll offer times for a free 15-minute consultation by phone or video, whichever feels safer to you.

2. We Talk — 15 Minutes, No Pressure

You share as much or as little as you're comfortable with. You ask questions — about my approach, about sessions, about anything. I answer honestly. We decide together whether I'm the right fit for what you need.

3. You Decide

If it feels right, we schedule a first session. If not — or if you need time — that's completely fine. No follow-up pressure, no strings attached. Some people take the consultation and start weeks later. Some never do. All of those are okay.

Not ready to talk yet? That's understandable. Feel free to explore Resilient Light Counseling blog articles, join the community on Instagram and Facebook, and listen to the Rise Up Restored podcast to get a feel for how I approach this work before reaching out.
